“Growing up in a region impacted by a fragile healthcare system, I have witnessed how families, especially mothers, travel long distances, often on foot, to access medical facilities. The lack of nearby healthcare services and the high cost of transportation frequently frustrate them from seeking timely medical care. This reality has shaped my kokorozashi: to contribute to reducing child mortality in my community and country.
I planned to establish a healthcare system that provides sustainable, cost-effective medical services such as maternal-child education (nutrition) in underserved communities. I believe that fundamental transformation begins with a vision rooted in community service. I am dedicated to using my education in Biomedical Science to improve children's healthcare. My journey with AAI has taught me that small efforts can ignite significant change, and I am steadfast in my commitment to being a beacon of hope and change in my community, not just in the future but starting now.”
