“I want to help improve life for rural dwellers by enhancing rural electrification in my country Zambia as well as other African countries. This also includes the promotion of the use of renewable sources such as wind and solar energy to generate electricity. This will enable people in rural areas to indulge in productive activities that they could not engage themselves in before. It has also been my heartfelt desire to see a substantial increase in the number of females taking Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) courses especially in my country where the STEM career path comprises of only 4% of females.”
