Postgraduate Scholarships

Master’s Degrees for Impact

Unlocking talent to address issues and innovate solutions in technology, climate change and community health.

  • From 2026, we are aiming to launch postgraduate scholarships for orphaned youth from across Africa.

  • With a Master’s degree and Ashinaga’s leadership training, talented students from 19 countries across Africa will have the skills and knowledge to amplify the impact they are making on the African continent.

  • We are looking for partners to join us in creating 20 new postgraduate scholarships.

  • Who: the best and brightest of the African continent, aged 21-25, who have lost one or both parents and have demonstrated a passion for addressing technology, climate change and/or community health issues in their societies.

  • Where: recruitment across 19 countries for top UK universities.

  • Why: Master’s degrees at top UK universities with research expertise in technology, climate change and community health will enable young changemakers to access an education that propels them into making an even bigger impact in these areas. Combined with Ashinaga’s leadership programme, students will have the skills, experience and education to enact greater positive change across the African continent.

Our goal is not just education, but that through education students can become leaders for their communities.

25% of the world’s leaders were educated in the UK.

Our work means that orphaned youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, with a passion for helping others, will be among those 25%.

The future needs good leaders; the work to find and support them starts today.

Our Focus

Students will be recruited for the following subject areas:

  • Technology and AI

  • Climate Change

  • Community Health

These subjects will contribute to at least 4 of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
