Unlocking Talent to Tackle Technology, Climate Change, and Community Health Challenges

  • From 2026, we are aiming to launch postgraduate scholarships for orphaned youth from 19 countries across Africa. With your support, we can empower the next generation of changemakers to drive sustainable development across the continent.

  • With a Master’s degree and Ashinaga’s leadership training, talented students from African nations will have the skills and knowledge needed to amplify the impact they are already making.

  • We are looking for partners to join us in kickstarting this project with 10 new postgraduate scholarships.

  • Creating scholarships for talented African youth who have lost one or both parents and have demonstrated a passion for addressing technology, climate change and/or community health-related issues.

  • Widening access to Master’s degrees at top UK universities with field expertise, combined with Ashinaga’s leadership programme, will enable students to gain the education and skills to enact greater change across the African continent.

  • Amplifying change by providing opportunities for young leaders to tackle problems with innovative solutions and knowledge expertise.

Our goal is not just education, but that through education students can become leaders for their communities.

25% of the world’s leaders were educated in the UK.

Our work means that orphaned youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, with a passion for helping others, will be among those 25%.

The future needs good leaders; the work to find and support them starts today.

Our Focus

Students will be recruited for the following subject areas:

  • Technology and AI

  • Climate Change

  • Community Health

These subjects will contribute to at least 4 of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
